15th Anniversary Cruise
15th Anniversary Cruise

Back in the day, restoring or recyling or reusing were all words that we didn't want to have as part of our lives; in fact, if someone had clothing or a piece of furniture that was USED (the word that was in our vocabularies prior to "previously owned" or "upcycled"), they were often ashamed and hid that fact. Now, even people whose finances allow them to purchase items new are often proud of an item they were able to "repurpose"!

When I was a little girl, God called me into ministry. No, I didn't hear an audible voice, but I sensed His presence in such a strong way and felt Him drawing me to a specific purpose. I knew He was laying a path in front of me to serve Him in vocational ministry.

I began making decisions, even at the young age of twelve and thirteen, that would prepare me to serve Him. I went to Bible college after high school, where I met and married a young man who was zealous for God, a gifted speaker/preacher, and who was serving in campus leadership.

In my youth and naivete, I thought that because he was serving God and in Bible college that his past didn't matter; I have since learned that when we don't allow God to heal those deepest wounds inside us, they will ultimately blindside us and potentially destroy what we've strived to build. After many years of physical abuse that ended with me looking like I had been in a boxing match (broken nose and eye swollen shut), I left the marriage.

To make a long story short(er), God has miraculously allowed me a second chance! Despite divorce and several wrong turns, He's graciously put me back on the path He's always had for me...to serve Him in ministry. He brought Allen Morrison into my life in 2006. We were married New Year's Day 2010 and just celebrated our fifteenth anniversary!

I am now a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God, and will be ordained this coming May, 2025! God uses me to minister to the brokenhearted and to bring deliverance through the power of the Holy Spirit. I am still amazed that God never discarded me or threw me away. He has restored me!
